recorded in Taizé 2017   [56']

The chants recorded here for the first time in Taizé bear witness to how prayer has remained alive in Taizé over many years. Many of them were written in recent years by brothers of the community, others have been in use for a long time. Some of them come from a different era, such as the originally 17th century German hymn Ô vous qui dans l'obscurité (Macht hoch die Tür). The alternate prayer Ô Sagesse (O Wisdom) invokes the coming of Christ and is based on centuries-old antiphons of the Latin tradition. These two hymns are sung especially during Advent.

Chants:
1. Laudemus Deum
2. Jésus, ma joie
3. Rejoice and be glad
4. Sanasi on lamppu
5. Jesu Christe, Fili Dei
6. Benedictus Dominus Deus
7. Señor, que florezca tu justicia
8. Litanie : Ô Sagesse
9. Wait for the Lord
10. cantique : Ô vous qui dans l'obscurité
11. Heureux qui s'abandonne à toi
12. Laudamus te
13. Breathe in us
14. Voici Dieu qui vient à mon secours
15. Confitemini Domino
16. Staňte se solí země
