Brother Richard, a brother of the Taizé Community, combines exegesis, theological reflection and the desire to read our time and world together with the Bible. The risen Christ "unlocked the scriptures" (Lk 24:32) when he was on his way to Emmaus with his companions. Following his example, "from their treasure we draw forth new and old" (Mt 13:52).
A little Taizé air is always mixed in with the biblical suggestions, sometimes imperceptibly and sometimes with explicit references to the life of the brothers and the youth meetings.

Brother Richard, born in Switzerland in 1959, has been a member of the Taizé Community since 1979.
