At Christmas, Christians celebrate the coming of God in the birth of Jesus. God chooses the very smallest to come into the world, to awaken the best in human beings and to bring them to life in their innermost being, uncovering there mercy and the gift of self.
The Gospel texts present us with a group of believers from Israel around Mary and Joseph: Zechariah, Elizabeth, Simeon, Hannah, the shepherds....
Listening to these voices of beginnings could help us to discern the seemingly contradictory ways in which God comes to us today.

The Taizé booklets seek to uncover paths to the essential sources of faith. Based on the experiences of the youth meetings around the community, they look at crucial questions for Christians today.
