    Jesus took the man who was deaf and could hardly speak aside, away from the crowd. With a deep sigh, he said, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened!” At this, the man's ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he spoke clearly. (Mark 7:31-37)
