Jesus said, "Come!" Peter got out of the boat and walked across the water to Jesus. But when Peter saw how fierce the wind was, he became frightened and began to sink. He cried out, "Lord, save me!" Jesus immediately reached out and took hold of him, saying to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" (Mt 14:29-31)

Paralyzed by doubt, Peter almost perishes. But faith saves him.

We pray for those whose faith has been shaken and who feel they are going under.

The Way of the Gospels is on the way to the Saint-Étienne spring, in the Silence area at the foot of the Taizé hill.

The icons are by Brother Denis and were made from tree bark in the brothers' workshop in Nairobi (Kenya).
